I am Min, a senior flutist at Marquette High School in Missouri, where I perform in our highest-level woodwind ensemble. While I have played the flute since middle school, my true musical journey took a massive leap forward two years ago when I began studying with my private flute teacher. Today, I also expand my orchestral skills as a member of the Webster University Community Music School youth orchestra, and my dedication was recognized with a gold rating at the Missouri State Solo and Ensemble Festival at the University of Missouri (Mizzou). To me, the flute is much more than an instrument - It is a powerful outlet for stress relief and a genuine reflection of who I am as a person. Playing music is deeply meaningful to me, and the discipline and passion I've found through the flute will stay with me as I take this next big step into college.
